Pellingbridge Farm CottagesSussex Planning consent under existing use & development provisions. When the owners of this beautiful Jacobean property with extensive grounds approached Development Solutions, they were faced with a planning issue that needed to be resolved. There were two cottages in the grounds plus a third linking structure, the entirely of which was occupied under a range of consents which appeared to link their use only to ancillary to the main house. Hitherto the cottages had been occupied by family members, both of whom were, sadly, deceased. Faced with no uses to which the owners could put the buildings that were “ancillary” we worked with the owners to build the case of an application for a certificate of existing use and development.
